Our History
Dear Algarve Swim Club Member,
Are you ready to embrace the untamed Spirit of the Ocean?
The @algarveswimclub invites you to begin your week with an exhilarating plunge into the pristine waters of Julia’s/Maria’s Beach.
Swim Details:
• Date/Time: 8am Every Monday
• Meeting Point: Back Car Park @ Julia’s
• What to Bring: Swimming Equipment 🏊♀️, Towel, Warm Clothes (Primark Onesie advisable), Bottled Water, and your adventurous Spirit!
Our mission is to build a Community of bold souls who dare to forge a deeper bond with the Sea, one wave at a time.
Each Monday, we unite for Warm-Up Functional Movemont exercises, followed by one K run plus, a 1-kilometre Ocean Swim— a refreshing challenge that awakens the body, sharpens the mind, and strengthens the connection between Man and the #GoldenTriangle Elements.

We swim with reverence to the Λncient Powers of the Ocean and its protector, Poseidon, the mighty God of Water. In his Spirit, we embrace the courage to face the Sea’s vastness, trusting in its embrace while respecting its power.
Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or new to ocean swimming, you’ll find patience, encouragement, camaraderie, and inspiration here.
